Shoe Parking - Find more parking space...

'I definitely need a larger place with more parking space... Nicole!'

'I do not know, how you store you shoes, but as a Lifestyle Consultant and professional Wardrobe Organizer, I have seen shoes and boots thrown under the bed, at the bottom of the wardrobe and scattered all over the house. I am sure you have 7 or 12 pairs per season, which you wear regularly and a lot more which you probably rarely wear.'

How many pairs of shoes do you own, Nicole?

'Well, I have my day-to-day favourites, which I wear all the time. Then I have shoes that only works with certain dresses and some depending on the season. I have shoes, which I only wear on holidays, or for sporting activities, or to a art and fashion event ...
At the moment, I love T-Strap Sandals, like this white ones from Day Shoe Store in Zürich. If you are in Zürich, you have to pop in. They have a wide range of beautiful soft Ballerinas plus some Vintage Ballerinas from the estate of actress Audrey Hepburn.'

How do you store your shoes?

'First, separate your shoes into categories: heels & flats (trainers, flip-flops, sandals, ballerinas) and boots into ankle boots and long boots etc. The styles are then colour coordinated and divided into material types.'

'I never would store my shoes in the 'clothes section' of my wardrobe, instead I have two separate shoe storages and all my other shoes are stored in shoe boxes. Shoe boxes are the best way to protect your shoes, especially ones you do not wear very much.'

'If you like shoe racks, just make sure that they are dusted regularly.
For my boots; I always use boot shapers and for the low shoes the soft shoe trees.'
